Ring a ding dong

This advertisement never gets old! I love this Geico promo for having one of the best ringtones I've ever heard. It makes me want to "lol", which I never do. So in honor of this great insurance company advertising cell phones, grab your promotional cell phone case and promote the ringtone you love so much! Aren't custom cell phone accessories so much fun!

T-Mobile Flashdance

Ok, check out this awesome use of promotional guerilla marketing that T-mobile came up with for their new advert. They basically got a huge amount of people to flash-dance Liverpool station, which later got the rest of the audience dancing as well. This is definitely an awesome promotional video that will definitely have its viewers smiling. The only thing I wanted to do when I saw this was to throw on my custom mp3 player and dance with them as well! My only concern would be that without a logoed cell phone case, I'd probably break my phone!

Das Auto!

In this uber trendy-like commercial Volkswagen nails the late night drift off most of us get when we're extremely tired. By portraying our drift-offs as a trippy amalgamation of lane lines with a teddy bear creature (what is it with Germans and teddies?) playing music, Volkswagen then shows the whole screen shake the driver awake and the commercial turns to a road that the car is driving on. I mean this is one of the coolest auto commercials I have seen in quite a while, and seriously the catch phrase at the end of "vibrating when you drift off" just made it all the better. So there's no need to start fearing your promotional teddy bear because with the features this custom automotive company offers, you'll be in safe hands.

Apple’s First Macintosh Ad - 1984

In 1984 Apple released its first advertisement for the Macintosh. It is seriously one of the coolest ads for one the most popular computers of our generation. The ad bases itself on Orwell's classic, "1984" and declares that its release is the only reason why the actual year 1984 won't be like the book. If you are at all interested in custom computer technology then I suggest you check this out, as this can only be described as one of the most important computing advertisements to have ever been released. I wonder if any people in 1984 were ever really freaking out and abusively using their promotional stress balls over fears that the year might turn out like the book.

It's time for take off!

Air New Zealand has come out with a new ad in which they claim that they have "nothing to hide". They then go on to prove this statement correct by dressing all of their staff, including pilots, flight attendants and baggage loaders in nothing but body paint. If the idea of body paint strikes your fancy then you should definitely try it out by getting some custom art supplies! I've heard that it takes hours to actually put on, but it certainly looks amazing. You may not look like the people in this commercial, but it'll definitely be something fun to do when you're bored. Or if you're a little too shy for body paint, then you can always join in the fun by wearing you're fair logoed airlines gear. In either case, definitely have your friends check out this video, because it's a cheeky reminder that when you fly Air New Zealand, you're getting nothing but the naked truth!

Taking it to the next level

Check out this cool advertisement from Nike! With the World Cup coming up in a few months, they decided to take some of the biggest soccer teams (Manchester United, Barcelona, Arsenal, etc.) and show some POV shots of their star players. They do this by placing them around a back-story where the POV shots make you feel as if you are actually involved as a player, being tapped up from the lower leagues to the pros! Seeing the teams and players that Nike was able to get together for this advertisement shows you just global they are. And with the great way they styled this commercial, it really just makes you want to grab your promotional Nike gear, throw it into your logoed drawstring bag and get out and play!

The Most Interesting Man In The World

Given that today's St. Patrick's Day, I figured I'd go with something alcohol-related. While you may be thinking, "This isn't Irish", let me tell you this…If this guy can speak French in Russian then I have no doubts in my mind that he can speak Gaelic in Mandarin. Dos Equis did a great job at making this guy marketable while selling its product. Anytime I see this commercial, I grab the closest custom barware and start rattling off lines in an accent. So to those of you out there that enjoy slinging back cheap light beer, all I have to say is why not trade your imprinted t-shirts for one that comes with collars. You see a lot of tacky commercials these days, but Dos Equis did it right and I can certainly say that I am looking forward to seeing more of the Most Interesting Man in the World.
