You! Buy! Windows! Now!



Holy retro Microsoft commercial, Batman! It wasn't clear at first whether Steve Ballmer was trying to sell an operating system, or a high-dose combination of coffee and methamphetamine. But he certainly gets your attention quickly, spews out a slew of information about Windows 1.0, and then convinces you that the price tag is exceptionally low.

This commercial is like the precursor to all of those hour-long infomercials we have today, condensed down to a single minute. To bad he didn't follow up his price-slashing with a free mousepad or coffee mug giveaways to encourage people to "buy now!"
