The first visible logo from space?!?! Is it a reality or a KFC untruth?
Funny enough this KFC logo supposedly large enough to see from space was set up in the Nevada desert as a publicity stunt (2006) for KFC’s viral marketing initiative. They even had the logo on Google Earth, which offers satellite images for your regional search purposes (even though the KFC logo on Google Earth should have been of much higher resolution).
Combining guerrilla marketing and the concept of being larger than life is a great way to promote a brand as long as the campaign also long as the plan is of high caliber, is well thought out, and is fully executed for the sake of your brand’s image.
