Not really sure if this is a promotion or not but it looks really cool. It also brings up a discussion about promos that I thought I would discuss.
Whether you are at a trade show, conference, or outreach to clients on the street; you should consider having interactive promotions. Promotional items like promotional nylon flyers and customized bungee rockets are great items to get your potential customers involved.
The advantages of having an interactive promotion not only places your company name and logo into the hands of consumers, it also allows you to build a relationship with your potential clients through interaction and conversation. This is the most effective way to put promotional products to work for you.

Spreading Holiday Cheer From Google
Happy Holidays from Google! This is a promotional gift Google sent out to their recipients wishing them a Happy Holiday. A Google branded promotional camera was sent as a gift. Here is a video of the gift.
Cameras make great holiday gifts for your clients. Take pictures of all your employees. They are great at corporate events or holiday parties so that every person attending can recall the memories later on.

Simpsons at Bryant Park
With the release of The Simpsons Movie on DVD on Tuesday, there was a big promotion celebrating the event. In Bryant Park, NYC the ice skating rink was surrounded by promotional items. Everything from promotional yellow santa hats and promotional balloons to mmm...promotional donuts.
Even the Simpsons couch made an appearance at the event. This was a great promotion that got everyone excited about The Simpsons Movie on DVD.

Extra! Extra! Guerrilla Marketing in the News
This is a great ABC News Podcast that talks about guerrilla marketing. It discusses the effect that guerrilla marketing has on the public. Guerrilla marketing can be seen in so many different forms.
What really captures my attention is that no one in this video is handing out guerrilla marketing/street team products All of the promotions featured in this video would have been twice as nice with some promotional products.

Charmin's Holiday Gift for NYC
It is often hard to find a bathroom in the busy city, especially in a place like NYC. Thanks to Charmin's holiday gift, finding a bathroom is a lot easier. This event had everything from dancing events to singing events and more importantly promotional bathrooms fully stocked with Charmin brand toilet paper.
The only thing could have made this promotion better would have been to hand out promotional hand sanitizer to all the would be potty users. Charmin really promoted their product well.

Promotional Packaging
Not only should your promotional products look great but so should your packaging. Widex hearing aids did just that. Using a two layer raster effect they were able to replicate an image of a sound wave on their packaging.
This was a great way to amplify the product being used. Not only did it serve as a really cool package it delivered the message of what the product does. The soundwave spells the payoff "High Definition Hearing". This is a great use of promotional packaging.

Denim Creature on the Loose
Here is a look at a Levi's marketing tool that is truly a guerrilla marketing campaign. In Union Square,San Francisco; a creature made of denim wanders the streets and attracts the attention of passersby.
This is the video of the promotion. What would have made this promotion even better? They probably should have had the creature drop promotional gift cards from its pockets to encourage customers to shop at the Levi's store.

Linux World Bag of Schwag
Here is a video of two IT guys who checked out LinuxWorld and picked up a bunch of cool promo items. There was obviously a lot to see. A lot of creative promotional items that you can use in your next conference or trade show. They were able to grab a bunch of promotional stress balls. The cool thing that was done with these stress balls is that Linux went and had the stressballs designed to match their logo. The famous Linux penguin.
These guys even got lucky enough to pick up some promotional compressed tees. These t-shirts can be compressed into virtually any shape. What a great haul of promotional products.
If there are any promotional videos from our site that you would like to see let us know and we will see if we can do a video about it!!

Laser Engraving for your Promotional Items
Ever wonder how logos get put on your promotional products? Here is an example of some promotional pens being laser engraved. This is really cool to watch. As you can see from outside it is like a laser light show.
The pens that generally get engraved are mettalic. Laser engraving tends to be the printing method of choice for higher-end pens because they give a sleeker look then other printing methods.
Have anything you would like to see on the blog? Let us know!

Interactive Promos at NASCAR/Aflac Fan Fest Tour
Here is another look inside the Hard Rock Cafe in Manhattan at the Aflac Pit Stop Tour. There were tons of interactive promos and a chance to win prizes. We see the Craftsmen Keys To Success promo as well as a race car simulator sponsored by Coca-Cola. Both of these promos allowed full interactive games and the chance to win prizes.
Craftsmen Keys To Success was really a lot of fun. Similar to the Wheel of Promos, only this time the participants went around four locked tool cabinets. By testing each lock with a key, when you found the right lock you opened the drawer and one your promotional item. The quack of the town was the Aflac promotional plush duck. The cool thing about this item is that not only does it look like the Aflac duck it sounds like it too.
